Nicole & Steven got married in Brisbane on a gorgeous day in February. Here’s a little about their story & of course some photos from the day 🙂
How did you two meet? Steven worked with my sister in London and it was at her 30th birthday that Steven and I first laid eyes on each other.
Can you share a little about the proposal? It was over Christmas 2013 and we had decided to pack the car up, (including the dog), and travel the three days from Brisbane to Alice Springs where I grew up. It was on the third and final day of travel upon seeing the red dust of the Northern Territory at the Devil’s Marble’s that Steven pulled up and on getting out of the car got down on one knee.
Favourite part of the day?
Nicole – walking down the aisle and seeing all the people I love most in the world (excluding a special few that couldn’t make it).
Steven – cracking open that first beer!
Top three tips for brides to be? Book in your venues early to avoid disappointment. Create a run sheet for the day down to 15 minute increments and give it to everyone involved in the day so that they know what to do and where to be. Chose vendors that you trust and feel comfortable with, this will give you a care free wedding day.
Would you have done anything differently? No:)
Why did you choose the Stamford Plaza for your reception? We were looking for a reception venue that we could trust and that would provide quality service.
